ALEXANDRE BARONI

Alexandre Baroni is a Consultant, Researcher, Professor and Speaker. Post-Doctorate in Engineering (UFSC). PhD in Engineering (UFRGS). Master in Engineering. Mechanical Engineer. Founder of BRN Metal, a company focused on innovation processes in metallurgy (MIM - Metal Injection Moulding).  He is currently Coordinator of the Production Engineering Course at URI - Erechim. He has worked in various universities (UFRGS, UFSC, PUCRS, Ritter, Feevale, UCS, FTEC, ...) as a researcher and/or director and/or coordinator and/or teacher for restructuring courses and learning modalities.

 

Baroni is a specialist in Modular Management, Portfolio and Project Management, Product Development and Manufacturing Strategy. He has over 20 years' experience in planning and implementation.

He is a researcher and Industry 4.0 enthusiast. He is organizing a pool of companies to build a national solution for competitiveness in the face of new technological developments.

With the aim of increasing competitiveness and results, Baroni advises companies from various segments in Brazil and abroad, such as: Fundição Tupy, Estaleiro Atlântico Sul, Medabil, Randon Implementos, Suspensys, Master, Jost, Fras-le, Tramontina, Mareli, AGCO, Comil Carrocerias...  As a member of the SAE Caxias do Sul Section board of directors, Baroni has supported projects and events such as the Manufacturing Symposium and the Urban Mobility Symposium in Caxias do Sul, among others. He has done a lot of community work for organizations such as Pão dos Pobres (Bread of the Poor), for over 100 years supporting the professional training of underprivileged minors.

 

As a non-partisan government official, Baroni has worked on various fronts and committees for regional development, whether through sectoral public policies or APLs for the RS government and the city of Porto Alegre. He focuses on increasing the competitiveness of the state and its policies.
