Strategy is the integrated set of choices (and non-choices) to fulfill the company's greater purpose, with singularity, and mobilize its sustainable growth. In Strategic Planning sessions, Luzio helps leaders under pressure for high performance to make the best choices (and renunciations): which customer segments to focus on; which value propositions (offer and benefits) are best; which vulnerabilities to focus transformation efforts on; which capabilities and resources to develop in order to deliver the value planned in the Strategy; which initiatives and the most appropriate implementation sequence; among others.

STRATEGY DESIGN

Our style of Strategic Planning is very agile, simple and at the same time with high added value. We work with friendly methodologies that make the process very rich for everyone involved. We help companies review and improve their Singularity (Positioning) and Growth Strategies, and create the Tactical Plan for executing the Strategy (Portfolio of Initiatives). We work at different organizational levels: Corporate Planning; Business Unit; and Products or Services.  

  • We map the Customer Journey to discover the problems that the company (and its competitors) have not yet solved;
     

  • We drew the Transformation Map to identify the vectors of change and trends that impact and will impact the business;
     

  • We analyze the company's Sources of Singularity versus its direct and indirect competitors;
     

  • We identify the potential Business Horizons;
     

  • We evaluate opportunities for progress in the Customer Value Proposition Design;
     

  • We find opportunities to optimize the current Business Model and create new ones (Business Model Generation);
     

  • We identify Cultural Tensions, Corporate Myths and Traps of Commitments that cloud the strategic vision and keep the company in active inertia;
     

  • We prioritize the Strategic Vulnerabilities Map to be addressed in Strategy Execution;
     

  • We summarize the Strategy on 1 Page (One Page Strategy® and Strategy Maps); and we create the Initiatives Portfolio; among others. One Page Strategy® is a strategic synthesis and alignment methodology created by Luzio Strategy in 2016.
     

For multinationals with operations in Brazil, we help translate the high-level Strategy, drawn up by the parent company in its country of origin or in corporate planning processes, into a lean plan that facilitates its execution. In this process, we align the planning of the Business Units and Shared Services with the Corporate Strategy.

OPTIMIZATION OF THE CURRENT BUSINESS MODEL

This service, which is an integrant part of our Strategic Planning consultancy, can also be contracted separately. So if the company doesn't want to look at the strategic plan for the business as a whole at the moment, it can opt for an extensive examination of the Business Model of a current product or service that it wants to find a new position for and mobilize growth. We discover opportunities to simplify, update and increase the profitability of the Business Model, culminating in a Tactical Plan for implementing the changes.

  • Through a holistic set of empathy activities with our Client's Focus Segment, we formulate an analysis of the Segment Profile, its needs and expectations (Persona and Empathy Map);
     

  • We map the Customer Journey to discover the problems that the company (and its competitors) have not yet solved;
     

  • We drew the Transformation Map to identify the vectors of change and trends that impact and will impact the business;
     

  • We analyze the company's Sources of Singularity versus its direct and indirect competitors;
     

  • We evaluate opportunities for progress in the Customer Value Proposition Design;

FORMULATING THE GROWTH PLAN

​Growth is a vital condition for a company to remain in the market, but it requires a bold Strategy that proposes real and relevant changes, with controlled risk. Whether in crisis or prosperity, management has to develop a capacity for ambidexterity: on the one hand keeping an eye on optimizing what it already does very well, and on the other creating new business models to pave attractive new avenues for growth. And effective strategy execution depends on bold people as agents of change. Without boldness, the company is unlikely to get out of the box - and non-growth becomes a nightmare from which the company is unlikely to wake up and free itself. We help identify the best chances of growth for the company, and formulate a balanced plan that stimulates the company's evolution, with boldness, and without biting off more than you can chew.

  • We identify the most attractive Growth Strategies for the company;
     

  • We have divided the possible Business Horizons into three phases;
     

  • We study the histories of competing players in Brazil and in reference countries to assess the degree of singularity and consistency of our Client's Growth Strategy;
     

  • We create a Tactical Plan with the Interventions, Projects and Activities that will have to be implemented in order to execute the Growth Plan.

We help materialize the essence of the Higher Purpose (Mission) in a simple and inspiring way. We update the Vision of the Future to create a sense of challenging progress that mobilizes the evolution of the organization and we assess the set of Values that will align the behavior of all employees in the consistent delivery of the Singularity Strategy. 

  • Luzio works on the Mission statements using the concept of Higher Purpose. We have great sensitivity and success in helping companies formulate a statement that engages and mobilizes their Employees and Stakeholders;
     

  • The Major Purpose represents the company's major goal, cause or legacy. This purpose plays an important role in the lives of its consumers or clients. At the same time, it provides a unifying explanation of the essential meaning of the work in that organization. It brings a broader meaning to what matters most and what we all look for in the company we choose to spend most of our lives with. It's a clear and inspiring demonstration of why I should get involved: why is the cause we fight for together in that company is more important, above all else? It doesn't just answer what we do or how we do it better than our competitors;
     

  • Vision is a clear representation of the most attractive and desirable future for the organization, capable of creating a goal of progress and a collective sense of urgency for change. Today's young people are more attracted to companies with audacious goals of playing a leading role in the world, rather than achieving a leading position in their sector or size. We help the company to create a sense of progress that is capable of shining in the eyes of young talent;
     

  • We are very critical in selecting the organization's Values. We help the company avoid falling into the commonplace of many Values statements, in order to create something that really makes sense to mobilize everyone's evolution and the organization's growth. Values create a permanent logic for the company's everyday decision-making process, as well as creating a social immune system that protects the company from new employees who are dissonant with the organizational culture - the real source of singularity.
